Abigail Ahern at Redbrick

4th Oct 2016

Internationally acclaimed designer Abigail Ahern brings London’s first entirely “faux-florist” to Heal's at Redbrick, Thursday 6th October.

Abigail Ahern has supplied faux-flowers to some of Europe’s premier restaurants, fashion houses and magazines including Tatler, as well as private clients ranging from Hollywood celebrities to the Vatican. Intricate detail, superb-quality and a tightly edited collection in a beautiful colour palette have always set Abigail Ahern’s faux-flowers apart.

In Heal's at Redbrick you will find a range of faux flowers and plants from decorative cacti to beautiful hand-tied bouquets in seasonal arrangements. To create these original designs, a dedicated team of in-house florists are on hand under the discerning eye of Abigail’s sister and business-partner Gemma Ahern. A highly sought-after professional florist, Gemma has previously worked with everyone from Jane Packer to Wild at Heart.

“Faux flowers and botanicals have always been our biggest sellers, so with this in mind we’ve decided to take a fresh new approach to flowers. The blooms evoke that wild, untamed English country garden vibe, with whimsical hydrangeas, amazing real-touch peonies, roses, blossom, and ferns and foliage such as evergreen sprigs and gorgeous trailing catkins.

We love to take things that people are often snooty about in interiors and turn them into something cool, luxurious and seriously desirable. Our fauxs deserve the same love, attention and expertise as cut flowers, and we want to deliver the most fantastic customer experience at our new florist in Heal’s.”
